Hotels in Shanghai: While in Shanghai we took the opportunity to stay in two of the tallest buildings in the city which are across the street from one another. One in fact ,the Shanghai World Financial Center (101 storeys) has its hotel - The Park Hyatt  located on the 79th to 93rd floors . Our room was on the 86th facing the river with a spectacular view.

The other is the Grand Hyatt located in the Jin Mao Tower ( 88 storeys). The rooms are on the 53rd to the 87th floors. Ours was located on the 68th floor,again with another spectacular view of the city.

Shanghai Museum and People's Park - As a museum of ancient Chinese art, Shanghai Museum possesses a collection of 120,000 precious works of art. Its rich and high-quality collection of ancient Chinese bronze, ceramics, painting and calligraphy is specially celebrated in the world.  In 1992, the Shanghai municipal government allocated to the Museum a piece of land at the very center of the city, the People's Square, as its new site.
